Description: IMAGE is a community of Film/Video/Multimedia
Makers. Who would have thought that there was a community of filmmakers
in the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay? Believe it or not,
there are thousands of independent filmmakers working here, producing
everything from feature films to cable access programming.
History: .The Independent Media Artists Group, IMAGE, was
formed in October 1993 to bring together local film/video/digital
media makers. In our 9 years of existence, IMAGE has grown by leaps
and bounds, with over 1,500 people in our database.

Description: VCC is a non-profit educational organization
devoted to promoting the art and craft of non-commercial movie/video

Description: Our training is part internship, part user
group, part think tank
all hands-on and all project-oriented.
No previous experience in computer graphics is necessary to enter
the program. Previous graphics experience (3D, 2D, Video) may allow
you to accelerate some training. Pixel Corps training is team oriented,
so if you don't like working with others, please do not apply.
Applications covered include : Photoshop, After Effects, Electric
Image, Form-Z, Maya, Final Cut Pro, REAL VIZ, and more. Techniques
covered include: Unix Shell Scripting, Production Management, Photoshop,
Video Compositing and Editing, 3D, and Photogrammetry. The intention
is to train the next generation of Media Developers
familiar
with everything from Broadband Content Creation to Digital Film
Production. We intend to bring the opportunity to everyone regardless
of economic background or location. If you participate
you
