We would like to
thank the many folks who stepped forward and helped us make the
first Mac Filmmakers meetings such a huge success! Enza
Sebastiani, Mark
Calice, Howell Hsiao,
Terri Levy and several
other helpful souls really made the meetings work!
The four of us Kevin
Johnson, Alutha Jamancar, Jerry Monti, and Fred Balin
have been shepherding this through the early phases. Mark
Calice, the godsend on AV that first night, has agreed to do
some heavy lifting and become part of our core team. There is a
lot to be done to put these gigs together!
Tentatively, we need persons for the next
meeting (June 19th) in the following capacities:
- demo reel shepherd
- videotaping (and sound!) shepherd
- break setup
- break cleanup
- sign-in monitor/greeter
- digital photographer (stills)
- writer (event recap!)
- door greeter (pair; one to get us if there is a problem)
- door watchers (once program begins)
- timekeeper
- badge table person(s)
- tech 1 and 2 (podium police)
- runner(s) to assist speakers with "whoops - I forgot!..."
For now, persons who have experience in setting up Macintosh User
Groups are invited to drop us a note.
Please specify what your experience set/interests are. We are determined
to make Mac Filmmakers an extraordinary addition to the digital
ranks!
